Ordering any item from Newport Watch & Jewelry Center is easy and convenient. NWJC will accept payments via the following methods; bank wire transfer, credit card, Paypal, personal check, or eCheck. Ordering online:
Once you've made your selection and would like to order your watch online, click on the "Purchase Item Now" to proceed to checkout. If you've decided on a particular watch but would like to continue shopping, simply click on "Add to Selections" where it will be stored in your online shopping cart. Then once you are finished shopping, click on "Complete Purchases" to proceed to checkout.

PAYMENTS
Please note that all prices listed and quoted are in U.S. dollars and all payments must be made in U.S. dollars.
Orders over $10,000.00 and all international orders (including Canada) require payment by bank wire transfer.
Bank Wire Transfer
Orders over $10,000.00 AND all international orders require payment by bank wire transfer.
A Bank Wire Transfer is a specific type of electronic funds transfer where your bank "Wires" money directly into our bank account. A wire is easy to do and usually costs less than $30. We offer a 3% discretionary discount to customers willing to pay by Bank Wire Transfer because it is less expensive for us to process than credit card payments. This discount represents the credit card discount fee that we would otherwise have to pay, and we happily pass this savings on to you. Domestic U.S. Wire transfers usually complete same business day and International wire transfers usually complete within 3-5 days. Once a bank wire officially “posts” to our account, we can usually ship your order the following day. Bank Wire is the fastest way to receive your item. If you wish to pay via wire transfer, please ask the salesperson to email the transfer information and final cost to you via phone, fax or email. You give this information to your bank (usually in person). Funds are then transferred directly from your bank account to our bank account.
Credit/Debit Cards
We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express on domestic United States orders less than $10,000.00. (Note international/Canada and orders over $10k must be paid by bank wire transfer)
Security and Fraud:
- All transactions are processed on a secure server to ensure security.
- All credit card transactions are thoroughly reviewed by a credit card security specialist for fraud indicators prior to processing the credit card.
- Any orders that have one or more "potential fraud indicators" may be canceled, without notice, at our discretion.
- All potential fraud indicators are immediately reported to the appropriate credit card issuing bank for further investigation.
- If your order contains any unusual circumstances that may be considered a fraud indicator, we strongly recommend that you contact us by phone to prevent delays or cancellation of your order.
- NWJC reserves to right to gather more proof of identification in order to process your order.
Different Shipping and Billing Addresses
NWJC recommends that billing and shipping addresses should be identical whenever possible. Every address and phone number submitted to NWJC is subject to verification. We reserve the right to reject any order you place with us, and/or to limit quantities on any order. If we reject your order or are unable to complete your order for any reason, we will attempt to notify you using the e-mail address you have given us with the order. Your receipt of an electronic or other form of order confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of our offer to sell.
What should I do if my card is declined when placing an order?
If you receive a “declined” error message when your order is placed, you must contact your bank. NWJC has no control over these error messages; they are submitted from your bank’s online authorization system. There are numerous reasons explaining a “declined” message. Usually credit cards have an online spending limit, and you may contact your bank to grant permission for the online transaction. After the bank temporarily lifts this restriction, feel free to order the item online again and proceed to checkout.
PayPal
We accept payments from a verified PayPal account on domestic U.S. orders less than $10,000.00. We can ship to the confirmed PayPal address only.
Personal Checks (Sorry, no Cashier’s Checks or Money Orders)

eChecks
An electronic check transaction with authorization to charge your bank account can be submitted via our Web form or as a mail order/telephone order. Once the transaction is submitted, order and payment information is securely transmitted via the Internet through secure payment gateway. Electronic Checks must clear our bank prior to shipment.
Financing
Newport Watch & Jewelry does not offer financing. However we do accept Trades and also offer loans (link to loans page) with collateral of $2,500 and up.
Sales Tax
All orders shipped within California are subject to state sales tax of 8.75%. NWJC does not collect sales tax on orders shipped outside the state of California.
Canceling an order
Orders that have been placed and processed via credit card or bank wire, but canceled prior to shipment will incur a 5% restocking fee.
